Did someone say Safety Field Trip?

This month, GLASC traded the meeting room for the manufacturing floor with a visit to Rea Magnet Wire, a company that has been a cornerstone of the Greater Lafayette community for decades. It was a great opportunity to see firsthand how safety, innovation, and manufacturing excellence work together every day.

A special thank you to Spencer Way with HexArmor for sharing valuable insights on head protection and the critical role hard hats play in workplace safety. While a hard hat may seem like a simple piece of PPE, it serves as the first line of defense against falling objects, impact hazards, and other job site risks.

As workplaces, technology, and job demands continue to evolve, staying informed about the latest safety standards and protective equipment is more important than ever.
