We kicked off our 2022 GLASC meeting calendar with an entertaining presentation and networking. Our January was hosted at the DoubleTree by Hilton Lafayette East Hotel. The lunch was sponsored by the Greater Lafayette Area Safety Council.

Our Presenter: Chad Harker and Edwin Frieden from Ryan Fire Protection educated us on the Topic of Winter Sprinkler Preparation Awareness. Our group was able to ask the speakers questions pertaining to their facilities and insurance companies. There was great information shared at this meeting in regard to sprinkler protector and related topics.- PRESENTATION BELOW

Our GLASC meeting for December was hosted at the DoubleTree by Hilton Lafayette East Hotel. The lunch was sponsored by the Greater Lafayette Area Safety Council.

Our Presenter: Sampson Briggs from DBI- Sala (3M Fall Protection) educated us on the Topic of Fall Protection. Sampson’s personal story of falling from a roof and surviving was powerful. Sampson’s passion for fall protection and knowledge gained in the field after his incident spoke volumes to our group.

Additionally, John Sanders was sworn in as President and Shelley Wuerthner as Treasurer for two more years! Congrats!

Our Presenter: Brad Dohm from Blackline Safety educated us on the Topic of Gas Detection devices as well as Lone Worker Safety.
